About our Soy Candles and Melts

Joco Naturals specifically chosen fragrances that are used in bath and body products that are phthalate free. We use one of the very best soy waxes, are non-genetically modified, and come from sustainable farms in the USA. In keeping with our wholesome approach with natural candles, we have elected to add no colour and use pure cotton wicks made in Germany.  Our premium fragrances are ntoed for their luxury quality and our pure essential oils are highly concentrated and we use no carrier oils to dilute them. 

Candle Care and Burning Instructions
 

• Never leave a burning candle unattended

• Never burn a candle on or near anything that might catch fire

• Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets

How to burn a Candle Safely

• Remove all packaging

• Trim the wick to 1/4 inch(5mm) each time before burning. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning

• Always use a candle holder specifically designed for candle use. It should be heat resistant, sturdy, and large enough to contain any drips or melted was. Candles at times may contain air bubbles that can cause seapage, therefore it is important to use a candle holder suitable to accommodate excess wax spillage

• Burn candles in a well-ventilated room

• Place the candle holder or candle container on a stable, heat-resistant surface

• Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times

• Avoid drafts, vents or air currents. This will help prevent rapid or uneven burning, and excessive dripping

While Burning

For the first time you light your candle, burn your candle for one hour per 2.5cm of the diameter of the candle, blow it out and let it cool.

Never touch or move a burning candle. Never move a candle when the wax is liquefied.

Soy Melts

Burn within sight.

Keep away out of reach or children and pets.

Use burner without lid. Do not add water.

Never heat on stove or electric appliance.

Ceramic Oil Burner

Burn only on stable heat resistant surface for not more than 3 hours at the time.

Do not move the oil burner while burning or if wax is hot.

Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Please do not use votive/tall tea light candle. (4 hr tea light candle max)

If you are using water and essential oil mix, please do not top up with cold water as it may result in cracking the ceramic.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

*Please tightly fit the wooden legs if they are not fitted.

How to clean the oil burner

Clean up soy from the burner:

When the wax is cooling down (just wax gets set) pour/wipe the wax and wash

the oil burner with soapy warm water. Let it dry after washing.
